Born in Monterrey, NL on October 5, 1936. Roberto Cordero studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas of the Universidad de Nuevo Leon, then at the Esmeralda school in Mexico City and finally in San Jose, California. His work has been subject of countless exhibitions in Mexico and the US.
