Born and raised in Mexico City, she studied at the Academia de Artes Plasticas and the Estudio de Artes Graficas Avanzadas with Guillermo Silva. She later moved to Warsaw, Poland, where she studied with several of the leading Polish graphic artists of the time. Her works have been exhibited at the University of Puerto Rico, Salon de la Plastica Mexicana in Mexico City, Salon Debiutow in Warsaw, Poland, and the Museum of Modern Art in Tel Aviv. From 1955 to 1959 she studied and worked with Dr. Atl. In 1967, she won the Premio Nacional de Grabado in Mexico City.
