Alberto Vazquez Navarrete (1952)

Born in Mexico City in 1952. He studied architecture but decides to build a career in art working in his father's, Mr. Antonio Vazquez Parra, atelier. He currently lives and works in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Alberto was a cofounder of the Jardin del Arte AC in Cuernavaca. He has exhibited widely in Mexico and abroad in places like Artistic's Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona , Texas Commerce Bank, Texas, First National Bank, Arkansas, Artexpo, Los Angeles, Ca. Galerie Troy, Paris, Mexican Cultural Institute, Washington,D.C. Chamber of Comerce Mexico-EUA, Washington, D.C. In 1995 he was awarded the Honorary International Citizen New Orleans award.
